Earthday Birthday 25
April marks what we here call the beginning of “festival season” which always kicks off with Orlando Rock Station 101.1 WJRR’s Earthday Birthday. This was the 25th year of the festival and it continues to get better every year. A wide range of musical tastes are satisfied during the festival each year, and 2018 was as diverse as any previous years, offering something for every fan’s delight.
This one day festival sprawled all across the Orlando Amphitheater for a day of rock, rides, vendors, food, alcohol, and all around fun. Unlike some of the other festivals, you don’t have to pick and choose which band you want to go see, because the awesome folks who put this all together have arranged the sets in such a way that you can see every act if you hustle the short distance between stages.
This year’s music festival marks the 25th anniversary of the show. Earthday Birthday is one of the largest locally-produced annual rock festivals in the state and draws upwards of 15,000 music lovers from around the globe! WJRR’s Earthday Birthday festival featured 3 stages of music including the JRR Unplugged Acoustic Stage and Chill Zone, special VIP viewing areas, plus other attractions including The Mel’s Bad Girls Club Art Walk and Charity Row featuring local artists and supporting Central Florida charities, the EDBD 25 Vendor Village, helicopter rides and more!
Lineup: Shinedown, Seether, Three Days Grace, Bush, All That Remains, Nonpoint, Starset, 10 Years, Fozzy, Powerman 5000, Red, Dead Girls Academy, Nirvanna, Meka of Meka Nism singing the National Anthem
As always EDBD is the best kick off to the Florida festival circuit every year on Earthday weekend, and we can’t wait to see what WJRR has planned for us next year.
