Red Sun Rising opened with hard hitting energy Amnesia. This is it….Your only one moment in time was quite fitting to end the year and begin a new one. Their singles “The Otherside” and “Emotionless” both reached No. 1 on the Rock charts from their first album Polyester Zeal. A riveting version of Alanis Morissette’s Uninvited had the crowd on their feet and hands in the air. With an alternative melodic hard rock vibe, this band is sure to be one to watch.

Mike Protich’s dream turned into the band’s hit EMOTIONLESS “This song is very unique because it came to me in a dream. Well a nightmare rather. In this dream I saw the image of a women laying in a dark room with a very dim light illuminating her body. I did not know who the women was but in the dream I knew I felt a strong love for her. She just laid there lifeless and I was captivated by it. Not dead just lifeless. Throughout the dream the women slowly faded and I felt an overwhelming sense of sadness and regret. Regret of something I’m not sure of. The dream obviously shook me up a bit and I was describing it to Ryan and I had said she was emotionless and motionless. Well obviously those two words together sounded perfect. I repeated those words over and over until it fell into a melody I liked and a melody that captured the beautiful darkness of the dream. The lyrics describe the feeling I had for the mysterious women in the dream.”.
